ArtPlay announces in-person summer camps in musical theater, visible arts – News

Protection protocols for in-individual camps at UAB might consist of each day temp checks, staggered pickup and fall-off, compact group lessons, masking, distancing, and out of doors performances/artwork galleries.

  • Camp 2, “Disney’s Frozen, Kids,” for ages 7-14, with director Valerie Lemmons. From 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday June 21-July 2. Cost is $420 course capacity is 40.

  • Camp 3 Intense, “Addams Household,” for ages 10-18, with director Reid Watson. From 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday July 12-30. Expense is $580 class capability is 40.

ArtPlay Musical Theatre campers will be introduced to musical theater with a assortment of pleasurable lessons. They will understand theater video games, improvisation, warm-ups, dance, vocal physical exercises, voice and diction, terminology, acting, and phase manufacturing, all although developing a character and rehearsing for a complete staged musical manufacturing at the conclusion of camp.
