Garrett County artists included in ‘Artists of Maryland: Visible Art’ |

OAKLAND, Md. — The function of two Garrett County artists has been featured in Maryland 1st girl Yumi Hogan’s e-book, “Artists of Maryland: Visual Art.”

Kathy Beachler, government director of the Garrett County Arts Council, mentioned the guide was produced by the Maryland Point out Arts Council for Hogan to give away as a reward to mates.

Chaney’s piece is a quilt, “Glacier Pines,” which is 86 inches square. She said the sample is by Judy Niemeyer, and it was custom made quilted by Marj Coffey.

She has been quilting for far more than 30 decades and has a smaller enterprise termed Quilts and Extra. She also displays her perform at the Garrett County Arts Council and online at SeymourArt.org.

Hogan provided a welcome message in the reserve.
