The Gregg Museum is incredibly happy to present a unique installation by artist/potter Daniel Johnston. He will be doing the job on the exhibition in the course of the party and will be out there for real-time concerns from viewers.

Daniel Johnston is a environment-renowned potter and set up artist, raised in Randolph County, and the following in a line of grasp artists that incorporate the likes of J.B. Cole, Mark Hewitt, Bernard Leach, Michael Cardew, Svend Bayer, and Clive Bowen. He has traveled to England and Thailand to more his craft, and has built installations at these kinds of galleries as Greenhill in Greensboro NC, Peter’s Project in Santa Fe NM, and has an installation at the Jim and Ann Goodnight Sculpture Park at the NC Museum of Artwork.

He now maintains a studio and resides in, Seagrove, NC. His perform is featured in The Mint Museum of Art, Charlotte, NC, The Gregg Museum of Art & Design and style, Raleigh, NC, and the North Carolina Pottery Centre in Seagrove, NC. He has lectured and taught quite a few workshops across the Southeast like at the Smithsonian’s Folks Daily life Competition in Washington, DC, Penland University of Crafts in Penland, NC, and St. Ives Ceramics in St Ives, Cornwall, England.
