KAA honors artists of all ages

Winners of Keizer Art Association’s (KAA) dual February show were introduced on-line on Saturday, Feb. 6.

Winners of Keizer Artwork Association’s (KAA) dual February exhibit were being introduced on the internet on Saturday, Feb. 6. Awards have been bestowed in the Winter season Demonstrate and the McNary Artwork Clearly show.

Wintertime Wanderer, a watercolor of a bear in winter season by Angela Wrantz received very first position in the KAA Wintertime Show’s 2D class next location honors went to Remembering Auxerre, France, a pencil drawing by Michael Dora. Cherry Trees, an acrylic painting by Jo Ann Leadingham won a 3rd area ribbon. 

The winners in the photography category have been Buddha Napping by Gary Olsen-Hasek (initially place), Freeze Fall by Suzie Torre-Cross (second area) and Honor Guard by Donna Lee (third put). 

Electronic artwork winners in the Wintertime Clearly show exhibit ended up Hen Bathtub Dove by Gary Olsen-Hasek (initial spot), Above the Rainbow in Maui by Rebecca Lockwood (2nd area) and Silver Lake Thaw by Gary Olsen-Hasek (third position).

Martha Hughes gained initial spot in 3D art for her textile piece, Edo Art. Kylie Saddler-Penick gained first area honors in the youth art classification for her painting titled Clean Fruit.

Named Very best of Display in the Winter season Display was Sunset in Full Bloom in colored pencil by Debbie Bowen.

Juror’s Advantage award winner was Karen Saleen for her colored pencil piece of two wine glasses, Vacant Reflections.

Greatest Best winners in the McNary Artwork Show—honoring higher university artists—were named in a few groups: images, 2D artwork and digital artwork. Very first location in 2D art went to Naia Faulkner’s Genuine. Coat by Bella Biondi gained next spot in 2D art although Meghan Arritola’a Footwear took 3rd put. 

Digital artwork winners were being Fairy Rhapsody by Bella Beard (to start with put), Tango by Angela Bakanov (second area), third area honors went to Quarantine Selfie by Aydan Bryant.

In the photography category, to start with place was gained by Abbie Covalt for Rising Up, 2nd area went to Naturally Golden, also by Abbie Covalt and third place went to Elise Ali for Sunset.

Ideal of Present honors in the McNary Art Present was offered to Angela Bakanov’s Slavic Folk Tales.
