To honor the University of Michigan Class of 2021, undergraduate students from the U-M Penny W. Stamps Faculty of Artwork & Style established a chalk paint mural on the street outside of the Rackham Graduate University.
Positioned at 915 E. Washington St., involving Thayer and Fletcher streets, the mural took practically five hrs to paint on Sunday, April 25. It is on perspective right up until May possibly 2 as section of the university’s graduation celebrations.
The mural is 18 x 400 ft. and involves various “flying” graduation caps established amongst white clouds, with a block M and terms reading “Go Blue Class of 2021” at the heart.
According to challenge collaborators, it was established to talk feelings of appreciation, accomplishment and an unforgettable Michigan encounter to the graduating course of 2021, the broader campus neighborhood and Ann Arbor metropolis citizens.
Azzaro, an artist and illustrator, reported the work came with each other as section of a collaborative method involving college students who assisted with mural style, set up or both.
