These are some of the concerns explored as a result of a resourceful mastering challenge between Columbus Higher education of Artwork & Design and style (CCAD) and the Veteran Arts Initiative (VAI) of the VA Central Ohio Health care Technique.
For the duration of the four-month lengthy partnership, 28 CCAD pupils in documentary online video, podcasting, and animation departments met with 21 VAI contributors to share Veterans’ tales and discover how their resourceful attempts as artists have assisted them system their individual navy ordeals.
In addition, Veterans’ poems from the VAI poetry workshops at the Franklin County jail were applied to develop shorter animations. Videographers mixed and edited the videos, podcasts and animations to make this film.
